This is a logo for my freelance media work. Being as perfectionistic as I am, I was too picky to let someone else design my logo, so I taught myself the basics of Adobe Illustrator to create this. I am finally satisfied!

 

The logo portrays three key symbols: an anchor, sails, and a lighthouse. The combination of the anchor and sails portray a paradox of stability and movement, which is meant to convey that the media I create is grounded in truths that transcend trends, but are also ever moving towards new heights and adapting with the times. The three sails symbolize Plato's three transcendentals: goodness, truth, and beauty–which are what move me to create. The sails paired with the top of the anchor resemble a lighthouse, to symbolize what I strive to accomplish with my work: to bring light into a darkened world. I believe that the goodness, truth and beauty contained in art of all kinds can change the world. It can lift the soul to something greater than itself and bring joy and hope amid anguish; and that's what I strive to do with everything I create.
